  11. This applet acts as an intermediary between the Netscape Navigator web
  12. browser and Aladdin Systems╒ SITcomm communications/terminal emulation
  13. package.

  15. NetSIT Register registers NetSIT with Netscape as a ╥protocol helper╙
  16. for telnet. NetSIT then accepts telnet URLs on SITcomm╒s behalf. Why?
  17. Because SITcomm doesn╒t understand the GetURL/OpenURL AppleEvents
  18. supported by many of the current Macintosh Internet applications.

  20. If you compile this yourself, be sure to set the compiled application╒s
  21. creator code to ╥SITT╙, or Netscape will not find it!
